WNC once again won "Most Outstanding Company in Taiwan – Technology Hardware & Equipment Sector" and "Most Outstanding Company in Taiwan – Small/Mid Caps Sector" in Asiamoney magazine's "Asia's Outstanding Companies Poll 2022"

Hsinchu, September 21, 2022 – Asiamoney magazine today announced the results of its annual “Asia’s Outstanding Companies Poll”. WNC is proud to announce that for the third year in a row it took out the “Most Outstanding Company in Taiwan – Technology Hardware & Equipment Sector” category as well as the “Most Outstanding Company in Taiwan – Small/Mid Caps Sector” category for the second year running. These results are a testament to the company’s continuing outstanding performance in operations, R&D, investor relations and sustainable development.

In response to the rise of geopolitical issues and global protectionism WNC has continued to add global sites, establishing a new German branch office and increasing production capacity with a new facility in the Southern Taiwan Science Park slated to start mass production by year-end. Additionally, in order to maintain WNC’s competitivity in sustainable development, this year the position of Chief Sustainability Officer and a Sustainable Development Committee were created to completely reposition the company’s sustainability policy and objectives. As we push energy saving and carbon and waste reduction measures to the fore, we also plan appropriate measures in response to climate change, helping us ensure operational sustainability and pursue an end goal of net zero carbon emissions. In addition, WNC has been supporting the provision of special education resources for remote schools for ten years and will continue doing so. This year we have been working with the Chi Po-lin Foundation to provide environmental education to local children so they can learn to cherish the Earth’s resources.

The Asia’s Outstanding Companies Poll is an annual survey conducted by Asiamoney magazine, an internationally renowned financial publication. The magazine sends invitations to over a thousand fund managers, bankers, ratings agencies, and analysts across Asia and asks them to vote in the poll.
